Vitabase Natural Fiber Concentrate is a cholesterol free powder designed to provide several types of soluble fiber along with other beneficial ingredients to support good health. Psyllium seed powder, rice bran, guar gum, and apple and citrus pectin are all soluble fibers.
Psyllium is perhaps the best known as it is used in many commercially available products. Psyllium is a good intestinal cleanser and stool softener. It is recommended for diarrhea, constipation, and maintaining healthy cholesterol levels. Rice bran has also demonstrated the capacity to support normal cholesterol levels.
To further enhance the action of the fiber our formula includes several additional ingredients. Reishi mushrooms have been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine. In recent years scientific studies have verified several potential applications for the mushrooms including stimulating the immune system.
Lactobacillus acidophilus is a bacteria which inhabits the gastrointestinal tract where it secretes enzymes that support healthy digestion. Acidophilus can be reduced by illness and by antibiotic use. Increasing the number of available bacteria may help with irritable bowel syndrome and recent evidence suggests it can be effective in lowering cholesterol.
Natural Fiber Concentrate comes in a convenient powder. The powder may be mixed with 8 ounces of water or can be simply sprinkled over or mixed into your regular food. Whenever you take additional fiber into your diet be sure to drink adequate amounts of fluids to avoid potential problems.
Suggested Use: Take one rounded teaspoon, one to three times a day. Dissolve into a glass of water or juice and stir briskly. Drink immediately.
